21-year-old Josiah Andrew Hill was reportedly dead after he fell on 9 stories from MSU’ Cartmell Hall. He was a sophomore at NSU. He was reported dead at 5:02 a.m.
The incident later got to the police around 4:30 a.m.
Sources revealed that around 4:20 a.m students heard noises but later heard of Hill’s death through an email.
His cause of death is yet to be known but it’s assumed that no suspect was involved in his death. Although, the authorities are still investigating what might have caused his death.
However, in regards to a source, the death of Hill seems to be the third student death since October.
According to President Jay Morgan’s statement, he said “We had an unfortunate situation, the death of a student, that happened on campus. It’s very tragic, very emotionally draining, very emotionally touching.”
It’s been revealed that the university counseling services are still in progress to help anyone who needs encouragement.
Hill’s funeral service has been scheduled to hold on 11th of May at Northcutt Funeral Home around 10:30 a.m.
