Lucia Colacci Obituary: In loving memory of Peterborough woman killed in Pigeon Lake Road crash.
Lucia was a beautiful person inside and out and a heart as big as all out doors.
According to reports, members of the City of Kawartha Lakes Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) responded to a fatal collision on Pigeon Lake Road Monday morning.
At approximately 8:30 am emergency services were dispatched to the single vehicle rollover from which the lone occupant was transported to hospital.
The 51-year-old female driver, now identified as Lucia Colacci from Peterborough was later pronounced deceased.
Pigeon Lake Road was closed for several hours from Heights Road to Sturgeon Road, while the OPP Technical Collision Investigators and Collision Reconstructionists were brought in to investigate.
