We’re deeply saddened to hear the news of the passing of our dear friend Nicola Black.
Along with her husband Blackie, Nicola has been a great supporter of CatStrand since day one.
Nicola was a regular audience member, workshop leader, and performer, founder of the Catstrand Singers & host of our Open Mic. A big advocate for spoken and sung Scots language, in the last year she released Squatter O Bairnsangs with her band, and Singing the Galloway Glens with the CatStrand Singers.
