Emergency personnel in Jackson County are looking into a drowning that may have occurred on Thursday.
Authorities claim that a guy drowned in the Dog River in the town of Big Point.
James Prisock, a deputy coroner for Jackson County, confirmed that the deceased was Mexican citizen Salvado Garcia, 41.
Garcia was pruning trees surrounding power lines that span the river, according to Mississippi Power, which confirmed Garcia was working for a contractor.
