In the course of looking for a missing 4-year-old daughter, remains have been discovered. The remains were discovered in the 200 block of Caldwell Avenue just before midnight, according to Memphis police.
As a parent, this information makes Stg. Louis Brownlee of the Memphis Police Department’s heart hurt. We simply ask that the neighborhood pray for this family as they navigate these trying times.
The remains are those of a tiny juvenile, according to the police, who added that they still need to be identified.
In order to get through these trying times, Brownlee asked for prayer for the family and law enforcement. “We thank all of our community partners who helped us in our search today,” he stated.
Both a man and a woman are in custody. Although no charges have been brought, the inquiry is still open.
