Tragically, a father-to-be who was expecting a child was discovered dead. This summer, 29-year-old Shawn Francis and his five-year companion Danielle were expecting their first child, a baby boy.
Shawn, a season ticket holder for Aston Villa who was extremely popular in his community and social orbit, was located on Saturday. A donation page set up in his memory has raised over £21,000, surpassing the initial £20,000 goal, thanks in part to a £5,000 contribution from his friend Jack Grealish.
“Heaven gained the most beautiful and purest angel of all. Our hearts will forever be missing a huge piece that you filled. You were the most caring, loving, honest and fun person who deserved more from life,” a tribute on Shawn’s Instagram page read. “Our son will be your legacy and we know that through him you will always be with us. He will always know how special and amazing his daddy is.”
