With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Sheridan Carter of Winston Salem, North Carolina, who passed away on June 22, 2022 at the age of 77. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Sheridan Carter to pay them a last tribute.
She was predeceased by : her mother Evelyn Bailey; her husband Charles Wesley Carter, III (Buzz); her son Christopher Forbes Carter; and her step-father Thomas Cobb Forbes. She is survived by : her son Bradford McCormick “Brad” Carter (Renee); her granddaughters, Caroline Elizabeth Carter of Greenville and Christine Forbes Carter of Greenville; her niece Martha Anderson (Bryan); her nephew Jay Gibson (Jill) of Apex; her friend Darius Morrow; and her caregivers, Barbara Williams, Beryl Bazemore, Towanda Holden and Ophelia Burt.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, June 26th 2022 from 1:30 PM to 3:00 PM at the Fellowship Hall. A funeral service will be held on Sunday, June 26th 2022 at 3:00 PM at the St. James United Methodist Church (2000 E 6th St, Greenville, NC 27858).
