Teresita Canilao Death – Cause of Death: Victim identified in domestic-related homicide in Oahu.
The victim in Sheridan St. murder is now identified as 76-year-old Teresita “Tessie” Canilao, the longtime employee at the consulate of the Philippines in Honolulu.
Police vehicles were outside the apartment complex where a woman died on Friday in the 900 block of Sheridan Street.
Tessie’s 81-year-old estranged husband who is now arrested on second degree murder charges confessed to killing her.
Tessie is remembered as quiet, kind woman with strong faith.
