An online obituary announced the passing of Anthony R. “Tony” Tracy of Geneseo, Illinois, at the age of 62 on Monday, February 13, 2023.
Over the years, Tony had worked at the Henry County Probation Office, Geneseo Police Department as Telecommunicator, and as Chief of Geneseo Ambulance. He currently was Chief Deputy Director of Henry County Office of Emergency Management as well as the Chair of the Henry County 911 Board.
Tony lived a life of Public Service, and his selfless service was recognized when he was named Illinois State Volunteer of the Year.
