Verónica Forqué Death: Spanish stage, film and television actress, Verónica Forqué Vázquez-Vigo has passed away. She died on December 13, 2021 at the age of 66.
Verónica Forqué was one of the most popular actress in Spanish cinema. Antonio Banderas confirms are passing via a tributes he post on his facebook page, he wrote; “Goodbye Veronica Forqué. I worked with her years ago and my memory is that of a sweet, spiritual and good company woman. R.I.P.”
Verónica Forqué was born in Madrid on 1 December 1955, to a family with an artistic background: her mother was the writer Carmen Vázquez-Vigo [es] and her father was the filmmaker José María Forqué. She had an older brother, film director Álvaro Forqué. She began a degree in psychology even though she switched to drama.
Verónica Forqué cause of death was confirmed to be Suicide. The lifeless body of actress Verónica Forqué , 66, was found this morning at her home in Madrid, on Víctor de la Serna street, by the emergency services of Summa 112, they were unable to do anything to revive her.
“I don’t have good news. I’m not feeling well, I’m exhausted,” Forqué said this few weeks after she starred in the Spanish television program Masterchef Celebrity where she speaks about how she is battling depression.
“I have fought for ten weeks, the experience of the best of my life, you know boss that I am very fighter and I am learning a lot. What a pity, I am sorry I cannot measure up but I cannot, the body cannot, no I can with my soul. I will return when I am good, “she said at the ninth gala to Judge Pepe Rodríguez, announcing that she was taking a leave of absence from the program.
Her appearances on the program generated a great response from the audience, which led the management of the ‘talent show’ to expose her even more, making Verónica Forqué the de facto protagonist of the situations generated in the space around the kitchen.
In her personal life, Verónica Forqué lived a long marital relationship with the director Manuel Iborra from 1981 to 2014, when both separated, leaving a common daughter, María Clara Iborra Forqué .
