Ghana Armed Forces Requirements

To be eligible for the Ghana Armed Forces recruitment, applicants must adhere to the following requirements and criteria:

Reside and be a Ghanaian citizen.
Not be married (for Regular Officer Candidates only).
Also, must be physically and medically fit
Must be of good character and not bonded.
Be between the 20-25 years for Regular Commission and not more than 30 years old for Short Service Commission.
Must not be less than 1.68m for male and 1.57m tall for female applicants.
Finally, must have one of the following:
i) Six credits (Not less than C6) including Core English, Core Mathematics and Core Science at WASSCE.
ii) Six credits (Not less than D) including Core English, Core Mathematics and Core Science at SSSCE.
iii) Five credits (Not less than 6) including English, Mathematics, and Science at GCE ‘O’ Level and not less than D in three subjects at GCE ‘A’ Level.
