A youngster died in a motorbike accident in Greenville has been named by the county coroner’s office.
The coroner reports that the collision took place at the intersection of Fairforest Way and Wenwood Road on Friday about 3:25 p.m.
The coroner said that when the GCCO and the Greenville City Police Department got there, they discovered that a motorcycle and a car had collided at the intersection.
According to the coroner, Aidan Wallace Pohl, 16, of Greenville, the motorcycle’s driver, was taken from the scene to Prisma Health Greenville, where he later passed away from his wounds.
The coroner reported that Pohl was wearing a helmet at the time of the collision.
The coroner reports that Pohl was pronounced dead on Friday just after 4 p.m.
