Andrew Baynes passed away on Friday, November 5, 2021. “On Friday November 5th 2021, we lost our dear friend Andrew Thomas Murray Baynes suddenly and unexpectedly.”
According to a GoFundMe page, Andrew was a very dedicated father, husband, son, brother, friend, and coworker.
“He took a liking to working with the community and chose the first response/ law enforcement route for work. Andrew began his career at Ontario Power Generation in 2008 as unarmed guard, moved on to complete the Basic Tactical Orientation Course in 2014 and joined the Canadian Adversary Testing Team shortly thereafter as an armed officer. Andrew also worked as a Volunteer Firefighter for Brighton, Crahame, and Trent Hills.”
“It is with great sorrow we announce the passing of one of our executive members, Andrew Baynes.
He will be remembered for his wacky sense of humour, eagerness to lend a hand, his ability to have a chat with anyone and mostly for the love he had for his three daughters.” – Alyssa Stanley
His passion for community service showed up in every aspect of his life.
