Barbara Haynes Death – Cause of Death: Former Davidson County Judge, Barbara Haynes dies following long battle with illness.
According to an online obituary, the former Davidson County judge died aged 84 after a long and courageous battle illness in her Goodlettsville home on Thursday, January 13, 2022.
“Our mother was a force of nature that loved deeply and worked and played hard!,” Barbara’s daughter, Mandy Young said in a statement. “She loved making a difference in public service, in charity work through so many organizations, and through helping people day in and day out! But she was always just our mother and we will miss her.”

Haynes was elected as General Sessions Judge in 1982 and was later elected Circuit Court Judge in 1990, serving in the post for 29 years before her retirement in November 2011.
