American car dealer and owner of Fuccillo Automotive. “It’s HUGE” Group has passed away. Billy Fuccillo passed away on June 18, 2021. Details surrounding his cause of death has not be revealed.

Fuccillo, 55, graduated in 1978 from Syracuse University, which he attended after receiving a full football scholarship. In 1989, he bought his first dealership in Adams (south of Watertown) and employed 35 people. Today he has more than 1,400 employees in 22 dealerships and 31 franchises throughout New York State and Florida — including the multifranchise dealership that he started on Grand Island in 2000.

Recently, Fuccillo received two national awards for Fuccillo Kia of Cape Coral, Fla., where in 2010 he gave away a three-bedroom, 1,400-square-foot home during a sales promotion. His national honors included best new dealer for 2011 and U.S. dealer with the highest retail sales volume.

His main residence may be in Skaneateles, but he owns vacation homes in Montego Bay, Jamaica.
