Brian Ringer Death – Cause of Death: Retired Morgan County Sheriff’s Office Captain Brian Ringer is dead.

Rtd. Captain Brian passed away from complications of acute pancreatitis with his family bedside him on Saturday, December 4, 2021.

“The Morgan County Sheriff’s Office is saddened to hear of the passing of retired MCSO Captain Brian Ringer,” Morgan County Sheriff’s Office wrote via a social media post. “Captain Ringer passed this morning from medical complications. May God Bless the Ringer family and we ask that you join us in keeping them in our thoughts and prayers.”

He most recently was an instructor at the Indiana Law Enforcement Academy, retiring after a full career at the Morgan County Sheriff’s Department achieving the rank of Captain.

“It is with a heavy heart that I announce the sudden passing of Lt. Brian Ringer. Brian was the lead EVO instructor at the Indiana Law Enforcement Academy,” Executive Director, ILEA, Timothy Horty wrote in a statement. “He passed at 8 am Saturday 12/4 with his family at his bedside from complications of acute pancreatitis.”

Funeral arrangements are pending.
