Chris McGrath Death: Guerin Catholic boys soccer coach, Chris McGrath died on Wednesday, November 17 after long battle with COVID-19.
McGrath was admitted to hospital due to COVID in September before he was later moved to the ICU and placed on a ventilator.
McGrath was an active member of the Indiana Soccer Coaches Association. He has won more than 60 games during his tenure as Golden Eagles head coach (2016-21), with semistate appearances in 2019-20.
Chris McGrath’s passion for soccer and advanced training pushed him to start Sogility with the vision to use technology to improve soccer players locally and across the nation.
“With profound grief, we share that he passed away yesterday, November 17,” after a long hospitalization, Sogility shared on Facebook. “In the three years that he built Sogility, he put together a team to achieve his vision.”
