Imogen Welch Death – Obituary : Imogen Welch has passed away. It is with great sadness we have to report another loss. Imogen Welch, a long term volunteer and artist in residence, lost her battle with cancer on Monday 2nd August.
Imogen joined Apsley Paper Trail at the very beginning of the charity’s formation. As a fine artist, she worked with some of the earliest school and youth groups, on projects such as Junk Heap Challenge. She became an artist in residence with her own space within the mill, in return for her support as a volunteer.
Imogen’s artworks can still be seen around the mill, most well known being Data Protection, a computer desk arrangement meticulously covered in the insides of lined envelopes.
We are immensely sad to hear about the passing away of Imogen Welch which was made known through several notices that we came across through the social media on August 9, 2021. Our hearts go out to you in your time of sorrow, Someone so special can never be forgotten and will be thinking of you in this moment of pain.
