Jenni Crain Death: Artist, Curator and Co-founder of Topless Gallery, Jenni Crain has passed away.
Promising and fast-rising New York-based artist and curator, Jenni Crain died on Thursday, December 16 from Covid-19 related complications. She was 30 years old.
“With heavy hearts we share the passing of Wattis 2020 Curatorial Fellow Jenni Crain (1991–2021),” Wattis Institute for Contemporary Arts shared via Facebook page.
“During her time at the Wattis, she quickly became an invaluable member of our team. Her work ethic, infectious enthusiasm, and keen insights helped lift our spirits and propel our program during the early days of the pandemic.”

Jenni co-founded Topless gallery. She began working at the Lower East Side gallery Miguel Abreu as a director earlier this year.
