John Thomas Gaddis Has Passed Away – Cause of Death
Authorities are asking for the public’s help finding family members for a man killed in a Birmingham boarding home fire.
The Jefferson County Coroner’s Office identified the victim Tuesday as John Thomas Gaddis. He was 70.
Birmingham Fire and Rescue Service responded at 1:30 a.m. Saturday to the home in the 100 block of Fourth Avenue North. When they arrived on the scene, they found multiple residents had been able to escape but one was trapped inside.
