Greensburg Central Catholic assistant football coach, Joseph Oslosky was killed in a car accident on Thursday, November 4.
Joseph Oslosky who was in his early forties was driving east on College Avenue in Hempfield around 9 a.m. when he crashed into the rear of another vehicle near Spanish Villa Drive.
Oslosky was transported to Excela Health Westmoreland Hospital were he later died from his injuries.
Greensburg Central Catholic have suffered the loss of two assistant football coaches in the space of five days. A statement released by the Diocese of Greensburg reads: “The Greensburg Central Catholic Football Team and the entire school community have experienced great loss in the last week. To the families, friends and players who are reeling from the news, my prayers are with you. May your faith in God comfort you during this difficult time. These men will forever be remembered as dedicated coaches. May their souls rest in peace.”
