Joseph Tocci and Kayla Ricks Obituary News – Car Accident: Two killed in two-vehicle collision in Wilmington; One in critical condition.
According to authorities, on Saturday, February 11, 2023, around 1:43am Wilmington Police Department units responded to a traffic collision at the intersection of Eastwood and Military Cutoff Rd.
Upon officers arrival at the scene, they discovered two vehicles collided, leaving three people with severe injuries. Sadly, two individuals succumbed to those injuries at the scene. The third individual was transported to Novant NHRMC with severe injuries.
Joseph Tocci, 23, of Wilmington, and Kayla Ricks, 28, of Wilmington died in the crash. Police said that Tocci was believed to be the driver of the vehicle that claimed both lives.
The driver of the other vehicle, Alfred Pattison Jr., 22 of Wilmington, was transported to Novant Health NHRMC, Pattison’s condition has been upgraded to stable.
