According to a news release from the authorities, two people died Saturday night on Highland Street following a rollover collision.
Joshua Taylor, 23, of Holliston, and Haley Gens, 23, of Connecticut were the casualties, according to the authorities.
Police were called to the scene of a single-car accident at 717 Highland St. at 9:53 p.m. on Saturday, according to the Holliston Police Department.
When they arrived, police found that a car had been traveling south on Highland Street at a “high rate of speed,” according to witnesses. The car then overturned, veered off the road, and collided with a tree.
Gens and Taylor, who was driving at the time of the crash were both pronounced dead at the site.
Investigations are ongoing.
