Leonard Fournette nearly perished when his car caught fire as he was travelling, but thankfully he was unhurt. The undrafted running back posted a video of his burned SUV on the side of the road on Instagram to reassure his followers that he was fine.
According to the Florida Highway Patrol, the fire started due to a mechanical issue.
“Man it was one of those days today, but I would like thank God, my car caught on fire while I was driving, But I’am still blessed,” Fournette wrote in a social media post.
Fournette, who was released by the Tampa Bay Buccaneers earlier this year, is currently in search of a new team in 2023.
