Mike Webster Death – Cause of Death: Mike Webster was a popular leader in deaf sports organisations. He was a director of the British Deaf Sports Council (94-95, 2002-08) and the Alban Neave Deaf Centre, Luton.

Mike Webster passed away on Friday, November 26, 2021. His cause of death was not disclosed.

“Norwich and Norfolk Deaf Social and Sport Club is saddened to hear the death of Michael ‘Mike’ Webster,” the club shared on on Friday, November 26. “He was one of the organisers of 50+, one of the committee members of East Anglian Deaf Sports (EADS), along so many other roles he took in throughout his life.”

“He was a lovely and funny gentleman and a good friend to all.”

He was honoured with the Lifetime Achievement Award in 2020.

“UKDS are saddened to see the news of Mike Webster, who passed away recently. Our condolences to his family and friends,” a post shared via UK Deaf Sport Facebook page read. “His achievements in Deaf sports were many, spanning across 50 years. Deaflympics, curling, bowls, football and his leadership in Deaf Sport.”
