Neil Regan Death – Cause of Death: Neil Regan has passed away.

“We are heartbroken at the passing of Neil Regan this weekend. Neil was our collaborator in the restoration of both courses at Winged Foot,” a post shared via Hanse Golf Course Design Facebook page read. “His knowledge and photographic memory of every detail of those greens made our work better.”

His cause of death was not disclosed.

“I will always remember watching him hit putts on those greens and his gleeful reaction when he would find a line for a putt that even Tillinghast never imagined. Without Neil, there is no way that our restoration of the East and West courses would have turned out as well.”

“He was a sweet man, who loved Winged Foot.”
