Rev. Green and his wife, Anita began pastoring in Pilgrim Holiness Churches in Mississippi and Virginia.
He loved to tell stories of his 1950’s hitchhiking days between Toledo and Owosso, many stories of door-to-door Electrolux vacuum cleaner sales, and stories of church building projects from Mississippi to West Virginia, his obituary read.
