Ticats legend, Angelo Mosca passes away aged 84

Hamilton Tiger-Cats legend, Angelo Mosca passed on Saturday, November 6, 2021, after a long battle with Alzheimer’s. He was 84 years old.

Angelo Mosca was an American Canadian Football League player and professional wrestler. He was also known by the wrestling nicknames ‘King Kong Mosca’ and ‘The Mighty Hercules’.

Angelo’s death was announced by his wife, Helen Mosca via a Facebook post on Saturday.

“It is with great sadness that the family of Angelo Mosca announce his passing on November 6, 2021, after a lengthy battle with Alzheimer’s.

Angelo was a loving husband, father, grandfather and great-grandfather as well as friend to so many. Angelo was 84 years old.”

Mosca has lived in and around Hamilton for many years, and currently lives in St. Catharines, Ontario with his wife, Helen.
