23-year-old Tina O. Tintor was identified as the deceased victim in a deadly crash involving Raiders wide receiver Henry Ruggs III who crashed into the rear of Tintor’s Toyota RAV-4 which engulfed into flames in Las Vegas on Tuesday, November 2, 2021.
Henry Ruggs III was allegedly driving at a speed of 156 miles per hour before the deadly crash. The NFL star now faces DUI charge.
Tintor lived in Las Vegas and has also lived in Upland, California. According to records. District Attorney Steve Wolfson told reporters, according to the newspaper, “The family’s torn apart, as anybody would be. This was a terrible, terrible collision, so they’re mourning their loss. They’re grieving. They’re mad.”
According to Katelyn Newberg of the Las Vegas Review-Journal, prosecutor Eric Bauman said in court that Ruggs was driving at 156 mph about two seconds before the crash and had slowed down to 127 mph when airbags deployed. The 22-year-old wide receiver had a blood-alcohol level that was twice the legal limit of 0.8 in Nevada, according to prosecutors, she said. Bauman also revealed that there was a loaded gun found in the vehicle, according to Newberg.
Henry Ruggs III has been charged and he is being held in jail on $150,000 bail. According to some reliable sources, Henry Ruggs still remain in custody.
