Volney “Rusty” Alston Death: City of Tomball firefighter/EMT, Volney Alston dies following deadly car accident on Sunday.

Firefighter, Volney Alston was involved in a deadly off-duty car accident on Sunday, December 12, 2021, Tomball Fire Department announced. Unfortunately, Alston didn’t survive the crash.

“The Tomball Professional Firefighters Association is saddened to report that Firefighter/EMT Volney “Rusty” Alston was killed in an early morning motor vehicle accident on Sunday, December 12, 2021, while off-duty,” the Department announced.

Alston has been with the City of Tomball since April 1st 2018, serving as a Firefighter/EMT.

“Rusty has made a lasting impression on our Fire Department and we are proud to have served with him.”

Funeral services will be released as soon as arrangements are finalized.

Rusty leaves behind a wife, Angela, and 2 sons, Arturo and Cary.
