Some players are ruining their names due to their bad deeds, one such NRL player named Curtis Scott has been charged with such a heinous crime against a woman.

As per the latest report Curtis Scott has been charged following an investigation into historically accused domestic violence offenses. The police of Sutherland Shire started investigating the 24-year-old in the month of November after the booked reports of domestic-related assaults accused to have happened in the year 2018.

Curtis Scott Arrested

It is believed the lay engaged lodged a complaint against the controversial star with both the NRL and NSW Police. Scott was apprehended while playing golf at Barden Ridge, in Sydney’s south, just prior to 06:00 PM on Wednesday. After that, he was taken to Sutherland Police Station and charged with 2 counts of intentionally choking a person with recklessness, 2 counts of assault occasioning actual bodily harm, stalk/intimidate intend fear physical, etc harm (domestic), and 2 counts of common assault (DV).

Cops will claim in court Scott assaulted a lady known to him several times in the year 2018. The 24-year-old athlete has been granted conditional bail and will come up at Sutherland Local Court on Wednesday, 5th January 2022. Scott has had a controversial career with contracts destroyed by both the Canberra Raiders and the Melbourne Storm after a series of off-field incidents.

He announced in late 2021 he had been attending Alcoholics Anonymous and had been involved with a psychologist for treatment.

Why was Curtis Scott Arrested?

In the year 2017, he was part of the Storm’s premiership victorious team that conquered the North Queensland Cowboys. Apart from this, he also played in Melbourne’s grand final conquer the following year.

In the year 2021, Curtis Scott has been handed a breach notice over his alleged engagement in a fight at a nightclub in Canberra. The accused incident has happened on 30th May.

After this news reported a statement released from the side of NRL in which they stated that “The National Rugby League (NRL) has released Canberra Raiders player Curtis Scott with a Breach Notice accusing he brought the match into disrepute at the time an incident at a venue in Canberra on 30th May. The Breach Notice proposes Scott be suspended for three matches and also fined $15,000.”
