In most institutions Cut off Mark is an Agreed point determined by the authorities of an institution for the qualification of students to be admitted in the course of the institution.

The Federal University of Petroleum Resources Effurun (FUPRE) in Delta State, Nigeria was established and approved by the Federal Executive Council meeting of 14 March 2007 and admitted its first set of undergraduates in 2008. The management of the Federal University of Petroleum Resources, Effurun (FUPRE) has released the cut-off mark for the 2020 academic session admission exercise.
Only the candidates who made the Federal University of Petroleum Resources, Effurun their Choice in the last Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME), and had a total score of 180 and above are eligible to take part in FUPRE Post UTME Screening Exercise.
