I scored less than 180 in JAMB, which course can I study? What are the lists of Universities that accept below 180 in JAMB? Is there any university that accepts 100, 120, 140, 150, 160,170 JAMB Score? These are the trending questions among those that failed JAMB with scores less than 180. But, I think they should be not be asking for courses they can study wit those scores. They will probably NEVER get an answer to that question. Instead, they should ask for the list of universities/schools that accept 140//150/160/170.
The reason why I said they may not get an answer to the first question may not be clear to you, so I will explain. Some schools will never admit you to study any course if you ever score below 199. This is because their minimum JAMB cut off mark is 200. In schools like UI, UNILAG, UNIBEN, OAU, UNILORIN and others, you can never gain admission to study any course with a score less than 200. Unfortunately, not many Universities admit candidates with JAMB score less than 180.
You may get admitted to study chemistry education in one Polytechnic with a score less than 180 but that will never get the same course in any of those schools I stated above (there are other schools I didn’t mention). So, that’s why I said you shouldn’t look for courses you can study with JAMB score less than 180.
Rather, you should look for schools that accept JAMB score less than 180 and admit candidates with low JAMB scores. Then, you can now proceed to check the courses offered by any if these schools so that you can choose your preferred one.
Before I forget, you will need to do a change of course/institution to the school you finally choose at the end of this article. In other not to waste your time, I will give you the list of Universities that accept JAMB score less than 180 in the following categories:
