Heather De Bromhead is the wife of Henry de Bromhead. She supports her spouse Henry and applies unconventional thinking to do so.
Heather and her husband reside in Knockeen, County of Watford. She participates in every facet of the company. She avoids getting involved in the horse’s day-to-day details. However, she frequently spends time with her husband and observes things that he does not.
Despite having different perspectives, she and Henry have a mutually beneficial relationship because they complement one another.
Henry’s wife participates actively in sales as well. She appears to have a sharper sight than her husband.
As of April 2021, Heather de Bromhead appears to be between 40 and 50. She doesn’t seem to have yet made any public disclosures about her birthdate or location of birth.
Henry de Bromhead has three children—Jack and Mia, identical twins, and Georgia, their younger sister, who make up his happy family.
On September 4, 2022, at the Glenbeigh Racing Festival, Bromhead lost his son Jack in a racing accident. 13-year-old Jack de Bromhead was killed after he fell off his pony while competing. The races that are scheduled for the event are not contests.
Henry’s son Jack had demonstrated great promise in pony races, and just a few days prior, he had ridden a victor in Cahirciveen Races.
The student would frequently compete for his father, who created history last year by riding the champions of the Champion Hurdle, Champion Chase, Gold Cup, and Grand National in the same year. He won the Champion Hurdle via Honeysuckle again last year, and he also finished first and second in the Gold Cup with A Plus Tard and Minella Indo.
Following the passing of his father, Harry, Henry de Bromhead started training racehorses in 2000. He worked at Coolmore Stud and spent time gaining training from Robert and Sally Alner and Sir Mark Prescott.
When Sizing Europe won the Irish Champion Hurdle in 2008, de Bromhead earned his first Grade One victory as a trainer. Since then, he has enjoyed success in both Ireland and the UK.
Henry’s most notable accomplishments include winning the Grand National in 2021, two Champion Hurdles, two Cheltenham Gold Cups, three Queen Mother Champion Chase victories with Sizing Europe in 2011, Special Tiara in 2017, and Put The Kettle On in 2021 at the Cheltenham Festival. Rachael Blackmore is his stable jockey at the moment.
