Barbara M. Strauss (nee) Friedman on June 15, 2022 of Englewood Cliffs, N.J. Barbara was born in Brooklyn, N.Y. Barbara was Executive Vice President of York International in Harrison, N.Y. She started her career at The Owens Group in Englewood Cliffs, N.J. Barbara was also President of The Community Chest in Englewood, N.J. Beloved wife to Thomas Manolio. Dear sister to Bruce Friedman and his wife Wendy. Adored daughter to the late Jerome and Shirley Friedman. Dear sister-in-law to Patricia Saltzberg and her husband Ira, Marlene Veselsky and her late husband Ronald and Susan Manolio. Barbara is predeceased by her brothers-in-law Larry and Jimmy Manolio. Adored aunt to Jordan, Jeffrey, Brielle, Ryan, Dale, Julian, Zach, Cole and Garrin.
Cherished great-aunt to Nikolaj, Lunete, Beatrix, Souren, Audrey, Jack and James. Barbara was the consummate professional. She was very highly respected and renowned in the Real Estate Insurance Industry and will be greatly missed by all. A service will be held on Tuesday, June 21, 2022 at 10:00am at the A.K. Macagna Funeral Home, 495 Anderson Avenue, Cliffside Park, N.J. Entombment to follow at Madonna Mausoleum in Fort Lee, N.J. Viewing hours Monday 4-8pm at the Funeral Home.
Shiva will be observed at the Manolio residence, 603 Floyd St., Englewood Cliffs, NJ immediately following the entombment on Tuesday June 21, 2011, as well as Wednesday June 22, 2022 and Thursday June 23, 2022 from 1-8 pm.
