Houston House Drowning: Boy dies in tragic drowning incident while taking shower at SW Houston house.
Houston Police is investigating the death of a 9-year-old boy who died in a drowning incident on Saturday night.
According to the Houston Police Department, the boy died in an apparent drowning while taking a shower. The incident happened around 10 p.m. at a home on Corsair Road, near West Fuqua Street and Beltway 8, police said.
Upon officers arrival at the location, they discovered the grandfather giving CPR to the boy who was reportedly found unresponsive in the bathtub by his grandfather.
The boy was pronounced dead at the scene.
Investigations are ongoing.
