Car Accident Ashburton: One dead, Five injured in solo crash on Gardiners Road.
One person has died and five others are in hospital after a vehicle left the road and crashed into a tree in Ashburton this evening.
According to police, two people are in a critical condition and three are in a serious condition following the crash on Gardiners Road.
Drivers are being urged to use an alternate route while the road is closed for an investigation.
Investigations are ongoing.
