Christopher Tyrone Blount Obituary News – Death: Hepzibah man killed in stun gun incident with Richmond County deputy.

Due to an investigation into a stun gun incident, one guy is dead and A Richmond County deputy is on leave following a stun gun incident that left suspect dead in Augusta.

According to reports, deputies arrived at a house in the 3400 block of Kensington Drive just after 12:30 on Sunday. The Richmond County Sheriff’s Office said that they attempted to apprehend a man who was behaving combatively.

The victim was then attempted to be restrained using a stun gun in order for deputies to make an arrest. The deputy fired his handgun, and the man went limp.

Before the Fire Department and EMS arrived on the site, deputies started doing CPR; they attempted CPR as well, but were unsuccessful, and the suspect was pronounced dead at the spot.

The victim was identified as 45-year-old Christopher Tyrone Blount of Hepzibah.
