Geisinger Wyoming Valley Code Black, Mass Casualty; What Happened at Geisinger Wyoming Valley Hospital?
The Geisinger Wyoming Valley code black alert is as a result of injuries from a car accident that exploded at the finish line of the hospital. The explosion killed at least three people and injured more than 20 others.
According to reports, there was a multi-car pile up after a car hit a bear.
The Geisinger Wyoming Valley Medical Center is a hospital in Wilkes-Barre, Pennsylvania. It was founded in 1878 by Dr. David H. Grier and is the only hospital in the Geisinger Health System.

North Branford Car Accident: Man dies following three-vehicle crash near Gulf Brook Drive.
According to North Branford Police Department in a press release, on 10/15/2022 at 8:46 Am The North Branford Police and Fire Department responded to the area of Forest Road (CT-RT 22) near Gulf Brook Drive for the report a serious motor vehicle accident.
Upon officers arrival they located a three car motor vehicle accident, police said. One of the operators sustained serious injuries, one operator sustained minor injuries and one operator sustained life threatening injuries.
According to police, emergency services performed extraordinary life saving measures to a 40 year old male (Northford, CT Resident) who was transported to Yale New Hospital.
“It is with heart felt sorrow and deep sympathy, the North Branford Police Department reports the 40 year old male did not survive,” police said.
Identification of the deceased will be released pending notification to family.
