Frank Voisin Obituary – Cause of Death: St. Mary’s business owner, Frank Voisin dies at 100.
Frank W. Voisin died peacefully on Thursday, October 13, 2022, surrounded by his family at his home on Juniper Crescent.
A life-long resident of the community and business owner, Frank joined St. Mary’s Board of Trustees in 1972 and was elected Vice-Chair at the first meeting. He went on to serve as Chair from 1976-78 and also chaired the Building committee from 1972 to 1984. In 1986, he helped to establish the St. Mary’s General Hospital Foundation and became its first Treasurer.
Frank continued on to serve on the Lay Advisory Committee to the Sisters of St. Joseph from 1980-2003. On June 26, 2007, Frank Voisin received the prestigious Mission Legacy Award which recognized his exceptional contribution to the health care Ministry of the Sisters of St. Joseph of Hamilton.
Frank had a long, prolific, and purposeful life.
