Sharon Baker Obituary News, Death – Cause of Death: Sharon L. Baker of Shinglehouse, passed away at the age of 78 on Wednesday, October 19, 2022, in UPMC Susquehanna Williamsport, after a long illness.
Sharon was born Tuesday, January 11, 1944 in Olean, N.Y., to George R. and Geraldine L. Foote Washburn. She was a graduate of Oswayo Valley High School, Class of 1962, in Shinglehouse.
Sharon was employed as a pharmacy technician at the former St. Francis Hospital in Olean, N.Y., until her retirement.
She enjoyed bowling, having attended many Lilac Tournaments in Rochester, N.Y. She enjoyed knitting and drawing. She loved playing pranks on family and friends, but her greatest love was her family, her obituary read.
