“Phyllis Glaser was a lot of firsts for our family. She was the first teacher we trusted all three of our kids with. She was the first one to help pry a crying kid off our legs at drop off reassuring that said child would calm down soon after we would leave…She was the first teacher that each child cried for and missed at the end of the school year,” a tribute post shared via Facebook read.
