Robbie Lucas Obituary News – Cause of Death: Longtime Somerset High School football coach Robbie Lucas passes away.
Coach Lucas has been a part of the SHS football program for more than 20 years and served as its head coach the last 14 seasons.
Lucas passed away on Sunday. His cause of death was not disclosed.
With a 14-1 record and the Class AA state football championship, Lucas ended his historic high school football season in 2019. In the 116-year history of the program, Lucas and the Briar Jumpers’ state championship victory was the first KHSAA football state championship.
