UVA Active Shooting; 3 dead, 2 injured at University of Virginia – Who is Christopher Darnell Jones?
According to university president Jim Ryan, a continuing active shooter situation at the University of Virginia Charlottesville campus has resulted in three fatalities and two injuries.

The suspect was identified as Christopher Darnell Jones, and both the University of Virginia Police Department and the school itself issued warnings to the public advising them to stay away from him and to dial 911 if they saw him. They added that he might be operating a black SUV with Virginia registration plates that read TWX3580.

Due to the fact that Jones joined the squad as a freshman in 2018 but did not participate in any games, Jones is also most likely a past football player for the school, according to Virginia Sports. It is unknown, though, if he is still enrolled.
The suspect is believed to be at large, armed and dangerous.
