Danielle Kehler Winnipeg Car Accident; Danielle had her whole life ahead of her and was looking forward to celebrating her 19th birthday the next day with friends and family.
A teen from Winnipeg who died following a crash on the Perimeter Highway early Thursday is now identified as 18-year-old Danielle Kehler.
According to authorities, emergency crews were called to the scene of a collision which occurred in the southbound lane of the North Perimeter Highway, just south of the Highway 6 intersection, at approximately 6:25 a.m. Thursday, November 17, 2022.
According to police, a southbound car lost control and crossed the median before colliding with a northbound pickup truck.
Police said the 18-year-old Winnipeg woman who was driving the southbound car was taken to the hospital immediately, where she eventually passed away. The pickup truck’s 67-year-old Portage la Prairie resident driver was brought to the hospital with non-life threatening wounds.

Danielle was on her way to her last shift at work. She was enrolled in the University of Manitoba Nursing Program where she received direct entry for January 2023. Danielle was an extremely smart and ambitious young lady with tons of energy and a great group of friends.
