Aaron Fisher Obituary – Death: Cambridge man dies following drowning incident on the waters of Barangay Basdiot.
A Canadian man who died on Friday, November 18, after he drowned while swimming on the waters of Barangay Basdiot in Moalboal town is now identified as 37-year-old Aaron Fisher.
According to Elmond John Mondaya, chief of the Moalboal Police Station, Fisher was taking selfies while on the beach. But drowned a few minutes later.
Fisher was already dead when brought to the Badian District Hospital.
Aaron was a passionate, kind and adventurous human being who was a beacon in the Hespeler community. He spent countless hours volunteering within his small community, sharing kindness wherever and whenever possible. He was the most amazing son, brother, uncle, friend and most importantly, father.
Aaron was on the trip of a lifetime, snorkelling in the Philippines, when he suffered a tragic accident that took his life.
He leaves behind his two beautiful sons, Sammy and Cole, who meant the world to him.
