Chef Michael Ginor is best know as the Founder of Hudson Valley Foie Gras. He was also a formidable chef and a fierce advocate for causes dear to him.

According to an online obituary, Chef Ginor passed away on Friday, November 25, 2022. However, his cause of death was not disclosed.

Chef Ginor’s work with foie gras both in Israel and the US advanced American gastronomy and made Hudson Valley Foie Gras the most comprehensive foie gras producer in the world.

The announcement of Mike’s passing was flooded by heartfelt tributes and condolences across social media. He will be missed by many.
