The victim in a murder-suicide that happened at Anaconda Town Pump casino on Wednesday night is identified as 61-year-old Keith Illston, and the shooter has been identified as 65-year-old Larry Blodnick.
According to police, Blodnick of Anaconda walked into the Anaconda casino at 6940 Montana Highway 1, shot Illston twice in the head in front of several witnesses, then walked out to the parking lot and turned the gun on himself.
Both Blodnick and Illston were dead at the scene.
According to Chief Sather, a casino worker reported the incident at 6:30 p.m.
The motive behind the incident is unknown at the moment.
Investigations are ongoing.
