Joshua Chevalier Obituary News – Car Accident: Teen dies in solo Southington crash after loosing control of his vehicle.
A teen who died after losing control of his car and going off-road in Southington early Sunday has been identified as 18-year-old Joshua Ryan Chevalier of Southington.
According to Southington police, at approximately 5 a.m. a nearby officer responded to the sound of screeching tires and the sound of a crash.
The police discovered a single car that had left the road and crashed into some trees while examining the scene.
When the driver apparently lost control and veered off the road, the car was traveling south on Main St., according to the police.
An ambulance and the Southington Fire Department were also sent to the area. Chevalier was identified as the driver of the car and was pronounced dead on the scene.
Investigations are ongoing.
