“The Moosic Borough Police Department is deeply saddened to learn about the passing of Borough resident, Kevin Harchar. Kevin, along with his wife Alison and their family, have been major supporters and organizers of our annual Santa Ride throughout the Borough.
In 2018, Kevin made a commitment to help raise funds to make sure EVERY child in the Borough was able to receive a stocking full of goodies from Santa. It was Kevin’s priority to make sure the Police Department had the support to deliver smiles to all the children and their families every Christmas season. Every year since then, Kevin played an integral part of growing this tradition into what it currently is today.
Kevin and Alison always have had a positive impact on the youth of our community, and because of that, we will continue this tradition in his honor for years and years to come.
Our thoughts and prayers are with Alison , their children and the entire Harchar family at this time. In Kevin’s honor, we encourage everyone to be kind and generous to each other…because that is what Kevin would have done!”
